Cracking Crime – How Forensic Science has contributed to solving crime in Ireland

Booking Essential

A talk by Niamh O’Connor, author of "Cracking Crime" – an absorbing account of the fascinating and ground breaking work of Dr Jim Donovan and his forensics team. Since its introduction in Ireland, forensics has solved hundreds of crimes with even the tiniest clues leading to convictions. Some of the more notable cases of true life crimes solved by the use of forensics include the triple murder of Imelda Riney, her son Liam and Father Walsh and the abduction and murder of Mary Duffy. Niamh O’Connor has also written "The Black Widow", about Catherine Nevin.
